POONCH: The District Administration Poonch is set to commence the vaccination process for selected Haj Pilgrims of district Poonch on February 06, 2026. The Chief Medical Officer Poonch, Dr. Parvaiz Ahmed Khan informed that the vaccination drive will be conducted on February 06, 2026 from 10 am to 4 pm across various locations in the district to facilitate Haj pilgrims in a smooth and organized manner.
The vaccination for pilgrims from Haveli, Urban Poonch and Mandi Sector, including Loran, Sawjian, Mandi, Nangali, Sathra, Chandak and Bandichechia, will be carried out at the Conference Hall of the Chief Medical Office, Poonch.
For pilgrims from Surankote, vaccination will take place at the Conference Hall, SDH Surankote, while pilgrims from Mendhar will be vaccinated at the Conference Hall, SDH Mendhar.
The CMO urged all selected Haj Pilgrims to report at their designated vaccination centres on the scheduled date and time, carrying the required documents to ensure timely completion of the vaccination process. The district administration and Health Department made all necessary arrangements to ensure a hassle-free and efficient vaccination drive.
