DODA: Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Doda, Din Mohd Afaqi today chaired a review meeting with the Block Development Officers (BDOs), Executive Engineer REW, AEEs, JEs and technical staff of the Rural Development Department (RDD) to assess the progress of ongoing developmental works across the district.
The ACD took a detailed review of works being executed under various schemes and emphasized early completion of all approved projects within stipulated timelines. He underscored the importance of maintaining quality standards, strict adherence to technical specifications and transparent execution of works.
The ACD held in-depth discussions on issues affecting progress, including availability of materials, site-specific challenges and inter-departmental coordination. He directed the concerned officers to remove bottlenecks promptly, ensure regular field inspections and submit timely progress reports. Special emphasis was laid on prioritizing works of public utility, proper utilization of funds and ensuring that benefits reach the grassroots level.
The ACD further instructed engineers and field staff to strengthen monitoring mechanisms, avoid delays and ensure accountability at every level. He cautioned that unjustified delays and substandard work will not be tolerated and called for coordinated efforts to achieve targets efficiently.
