JAMMU: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu is gearing up to host its 7th edition of the HR Conclave on August 17-18, 2024. The theme for this year’ HR Conclave 7.O is “HR Evolution: Crafting the Next Decade” addresses the dynamic shifts and emerging trends that will shape the future of human resources over the next decade. It will also explore the evolving expectations of a multigenerational workforce, highlighting the need for more personalized and flexible work environments. Additionally, the event aims to discuss the growing emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion, and how these principles can be seamlessly integrated into organizational culture

The Conclave will commence with an inaugural session featuring addresses from key dignitaries including Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu. It will also feature addresses by Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean of Academics, IIM Jammu and Dr. Baljeet Singh, Co-Chairperson (Placements), IIM Jammu. The event will set the stage for exploring the intersection of HR practices and startup ecosystems, emphasizing how robust HR foundations can drive long-term success in new ventures.

Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, expressed his enthusiasm stating that, “IIM Jammu is all set to host HR Conclave 7.0. These gatherings provide a unique opportunity for academia and industry to come together, sharing their experiences and research. It is our sincere belief that this confluence of ideas will lead to innovative solutions to some of the most pressing HR challenges faced by organizations today.”

The HR Conclave 7.0 and International HR Conference will feature a lineup of esteemed speakers, engaging panel discussions, workshops, and research presentations. This HR Conclave and International HR Conference is being organized by the industry Interaction Cell of IIM Jammu so that students can gain more corporate insights and obtain knowledge from the best in the industry. The event will also serve to draw the attention of the business community to the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir and its commercial opportunities.
