JAMMU: Prof. Richa Kothari, from Central University of Jammu, was awarded the prestigious Women’s Scientist Award during a special event organized by the Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer, to mark International Women’s Day. The ceremony held recently, recognized and honored the achievements of women who have made significant strides in various fields. Kothari's recognition highlights her exemplary work in the field of biomaterials for bioenergy and low-cost wastewater treatment. Prof. Kothari pioneering research on sustainable bioenergy solutions and wastewater treatment has garnered widespread recognition for its innovative approaches to addressing some of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time.
On this momentous occasion, Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu, Prof. Sanjeev Jain, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Kothari.
