- BJP Mahila Morcha organizes Swachhta Abhiyan at Dogra Chowk
JAMMU: As part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada being celebrated across the Union Territory to mark the 75th birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morcha, J&K, organized a Swachhata Abhiyan at the statue of the great Dogra leader, Pt. Prem Nath Dogra ji, at Dogra Chowk, Jammu.
The cleanliness drive was led by Adv. Neha Mahajan, President BJP Mahila Morcha J&K, who along with the entire team of Mahila Morcha activists actively participated in the initiative. The campaign aimed at promoting the vision of Swachh Bharat by emphasizing collective responsibility towards maintaining cleanliness and ensuring respect for public spaces.
Former Corporator Neena Gupta, Prerna Nanda, Anita Gandotra, Santosh Gupta, Poonam Gupta, Usha Rajput, Neeru Anand, Geetanjali Mahajan, Anu Bhasin, Suman Raina, Pooja Salgotra, Chakshu Kapoor, Asha Sharma and others were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Adv. Neha Mahajan highlighted that cleanliness is not merely a matter of hygiene but an expression of civic responsibility and national pride. She said that keeping our surroundings clean is a collective duty that reflects our respect for society and for the nation. She said that inspired by the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, BJP Mahila Morcha is fully committed to contributing towards the dream of a Clean and Healthy India.
The programme also witnessed enthusiastic participation from local citizens, who extended their support to the noble cause. The Mahila Morcha team urged the people to make cleanliness a regular practice in their daily lives and join hands in fulfilling the mission of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
