BUDGAM, BANDIPORA, ANANTNAG & SOPORE: As part of the ongoing Seva Parv 2025 celebrations, J&K Police observes ‘Seva Parv’ with Swachhta Pledge, Safayi Abhiyan drives in Budgam, Bandipora, Anantnag & Sopore, marking a significant step towards promoting civic responsibility and environmental consciousness.

In Budgam, the drive was organised at District Police Lines Budgam and other police establishments. Senior Superintendent of Police Budgam, Shri Nikhil Borkar IPS, along with DySP Hqrs Budgam, DySP DAR Budgam, SHOs and other officers of the district, led the initiative. A large number of police personnel actively participated in the campaign with great enthusiasm, cleaning the surroundings and properly disposing of waste material.

In Bandipora, J&K Police continued its series of cleanliness drives across all police establishments in the district. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers and officials at all levels, who undertook cleaning of offices, police establishments, and surrounding areas. In addition to internal drives, police teams also engaged with the local community including shopkeepers, youth, and residents to spread awareness on the importance of sanitation, hygiene, and sustainable living.

In Anantnag, J&K Police organised a Swachhta Abhiyaan drive in and around the premises of District Police Lines Anantnag. The cleanliness drive was led by Senior Superintendent of Police Anantnag, Shri AmritPal Singh-IPS, SP Hqrs Shri Kartik Shrotriya-IPS and witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers and officials of district Police Anantnag. The officers were united in the spirit of public service and joined hands in the common cause of cleanliness.

In Sopore, the program commenced with the Swachhta Pledge administered to officers and officials of J&K Police, reaffirming their commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and community service. Cleanliness drives were carried out at the District Police Office Sopore, District Police Lines, Police Stations, and Police Posts across the district. The event was observed as Swachhutsav, symbolizing collective resolve for a clean and healthy environment.

By actively participating in Sewa Parv, J&K Police reaffirmed its dedication not only to law enforcement but also to social responsibility and nation-building. J&K Police appeals to the public to join hands in cleanliness initiatives and contribute to building a healthier, cleaner, and better society.
