KISHTWAR: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pankaj Kumar Sharma today handed over 10 Micro ATMs and Biometric Devices to the Krishi Udhyamis of KKGs here at a one-day training programme-cum-workshop organized by the Department of Agriculture.
The programme aimed to strengthen the digital outreach of Krishi Udhyamis and enhance their capacity to provide doorstep services to farmers. The Micro ATMs and Biometric Devices will enable Krishi Udhyamis to facilitate digital transactions, beneficiary authentication and timely service delivery under various agricultural schemes.
The Deputy Commissioner encouraged Krishi Udhyamis to make effective use of the devices to improve efficiency and promote transparency. Chief Agriculture Officer, Kushal Chandel emphasised the role of Krishi Udhyamis in bridging the gap between the Agriculture Department and farming community and emphasized the importance of digital tools in modern agricultural service delivery.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and an appeal to all participants to continue working with dedication towards empowering the farmers of the district. The event was attended by DAO Kishtwar Rajeshwar Singh, SDO Kishwar Manzoor Ahmed, SDAO Paddar Dheeraj Singh, DM CSC Kishtwar Suman Kapoor besides others concerned officials.
