ANANTNAG: As part of the ongoing Seva Parv campaign, Kokernag Development Authority (KDA) under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and in collaboration with SDPO Achabal, today organized an awareness-cum-cleanliness drive at Achabal. The drive commenced from Achabal Chowk and culminated at the historic Achabal Garden.
Employees from KDA and other departments, along with local volunteers, actively participated in the initiative. They collected garbage and litter from the roadsides and within Achabal Garden to restore cleanliness and spread awareness about environmental responsibility.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO KDA said that Seva Parv offers an opportunity to reinforce the importance of cleanliness and environmental care while also expediting developmental works.
He further added that a series of activities under Seva Parv will continue within the KDA jurisdiction till October 2, 2025, focusing on community service, public welfare, cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, and outreach programmes.
Participants pledged to continue their efforts towards maintaining cleanliness and preserving the natural beauty of Achabal, making it a model for sustainable development and community participation.
