JAMMU: The SGWF Foundation proudly conducted a plantation drive titled "Ek Ped Maa ke Naam" at Kaie Raja Dev Sathan Gurha Brahman, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to addressing environmental challenges. The event was organized by Mr. Ravi Verma, Patron of SGWF, who highlighted the NGO’s dedicated efforts in promoting environmental sustainability.

The "Ek Ped Maa ke Naam" initiative is designed to honor mothers by planting trees in their names, symbolizing life, growth, and nurturing care. The plantation drive at Kaie Raja Dev Sathan Gurha Brahman saw active participation from community members, volunteers, and SGWF team members. Over [number] saplings of native species were planted to ensure better adaptation to the local environment and higher survival rates. 

The drive included educational sessions on the importance of tree planting, environmental conservation, and the long-term benefits of maintaining green spaces. Participants were provided with guidance on how to care for the newly planted trees, emphasizing community involvement in sustaining these efforts.

Ravi Verma, Patron of SGWF, is a visionary leader with a deep commitment to environmental conservation. His strategic direction and hands-on involvement have been pivotal in steering SGWF’s initiatives towards success. Under his guidance, SGWF has undertaken numerous projects aimed at fostering sustainable development and environmental stewardship.

Mrs. Reeta Verma, National President of SGWF, leads with passion and dedication. She plays a crucial role in shaping the foundation’s policies and programs, ensuring they align with SGWF’s mission. Her leadership and organizational skills have been instrumental in mobilizing resources and support for the foundation’s initiatives.

Makhani Devi, General Secretary of SGWF, is the backbone of the foundation’s operations. She oversees the administrative functions and ensures the smooth execution of projects. Her meticulous planning and coordination efforts were key to the success of the plantation drive.

Jyoti Verma, District President of Samba, is a dynamic leader committed to grassroots mobilization. She works closely with local communities to promote SGWF’s initiatives and encourages active participation in environmental conservation efforts.

Dr. Sonia Verma, an esteemed environmentalist and key member of SGWF, brings her expertise in environmental science to the foundation. She plays a critical role in designing and implementing sustainable practices within SGWF’s projects. Dr. Verma emphasized the importance of strategic planning in plantation drives to ensure the survival of the planted trees. She also shed light on the achievements and ongoing challenges faced by the Synergetic Green Warriors Foundation in its mission to foster a greener and more sustainable environment.

Dr. Sonia Verma’s dedication to the "Ek Ped Maa ke Naam" initiative goes beyond her role as an environmentalist.
