JAMMU: A placement drive for final-year students of the Department of Chemistry, Central University of Jammu (CUJ), was conducted today. The drive was organized by the Training & Placement Office under the guidance of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain, with participation from Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.
The recruitment process was led by Mr. Kamlesh, HR Head, Sun Pharma, along with his team. Students were assessed on parameters relevant to the pharmaceutical and chemistry domain, and a few candidates were shortlisted for further selection. The drive offered valuable industry exposure and interaction for MSc Chemistry students.
The Head of the Department of Chemistry, Dr. Sujata Kundan, along with faculty members, was present during the drive. The Training and Placement Officer Mr. Viraj Magotra, encouraged students to make the best use of campus placement opportunities. The MSc Chemistry programme at CUJ continues to gain prominence due to its industry-oriented curriculum.
