SRINAGAR: In a significant step toward strengthening grassroots implementation and outreach, a one-day Sensitization-cum-Training Programme for field functionaries was successfully conducted today at the NHM Hall, Old Secretariat.  The programme was organized under the ambit of the Atal Vayo Abhyuday Yojana (AVYAY) Scheme, aiming to enhance awareness, sharpen skills, and build a more responsive and informed field workforce.

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from field-level officials and workers, who form the backbone of effective service delivery. The training focused on deepening their understanding of the scheme’s laws, objectives, and services improving on-ground coordination, and ensuring that the benefits reach the intended beneficiaries in a timely and efficient manner.

Experts and resource persons led interactive sessions, combining practical insights with real-life scenarios. The discussions encouraged active participation, allowing attendees to share experiences, address challenges, and explore solutions collectively.  The programme also emphasized sensitivity, accountability, and a people-centric approach in the execution of responsibilities.

The initiative reflects a continued commitment to capacity building and strengthening institutional mechanisms at the grassroots level.
