JAMMU: The book “What Shapes Us When No One Is Watching”, authored by Shahid Ahmed Hakla Poonchi (A noted columnist, Published writer, Independent researcher, and motivational speaker) from Poonch district of Jammu & Kashmir, in continuation of its outreach was formally released at the office of Dr. Ajay Sharma, Superintendent of Police, Jammu South, J&K.
On the occasion, the author presented his book and briefly highlighted its focus on the unseen habits and choices that shape human character and personal growth. Shahid Ahmed Hakla Poonchi has authored over 50 articles in reputed platforms including Hindustan Times Digital Seevices, Daily Excelsior, Kashmir Observer, State Observer, JK Newspoint, Kashmir Images etc.
His research focuses on the socio-political and ethnographic study of the Gujjar and Bakarwal communities of Jammu & Kashmir, and he has also been awarded by the then Chief of Army Staff, Late General Bipin Rawat, for his academic excellence.
