GURUGRAM: Shark Tank India judge and founder of Masters’ Union and Tetr College of Business, Pratham Mittal, made two investments on the Shark Tank India Season 5 Campus Special episode, backing two early-stage startups, Floreal and Two Words Away.
Floreal, founded by Vanshika Mittal, a student of Lovely Professional University, is a startup building a modern crochet floral gifting brand focused on curated flower arrangements and premium bouquet experiences. Two Words Away, founded by Sanchit Garg, a student of National University of Singapore, is a private ‘by-default’, event management platform.
During the episode, Floreal entered the tank seeking ₹1 crore for 3% equity and secured a deal of ₹1 crore for 8% equity from Pratham Mittal and Mohit Yadav, CEO and Co-founder of Minimalist, reflecting investor confidence in the startup’s potential to scale in the premium floral gifting segment. In another deal, Two Words Away pitched for ₹10 lakh for 10% equity and secured the investment on the same terms from Pratham Mittal, Mohit Yadav, and Kunal Bahl, Co-founder of Snapdeal and Titan Capital.
