RAJOURI: Rakesh Mahajan, State Vice President, BJP and In-charge, Yuva Morcha Jammu & Kashmir, visited the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Rajouri and held a courtesy meeting with Abhishek Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, and Gaurav Sravakar, Senior Superintendent of Police. This was Mahajan’s first visit to district Rajouri after contesting the Rajya Sabha elections. He was accompanied by BJP State Secretary Dinesh Sharma.
Mahajan was warmly received by the district officers, and the interaction was held in a cordial and positive atmosphere. During the meeting, there was a meaningful exchange of views on various developmental aspects and public welfare initiatives in the district, particularly in the context of schemes being implemented under the leadership of Narendra Modi.
Mahajan also raised queries regarding the prevailing LPG supply situation in the region and enquired whether the public is facing any inconvenience. It was observed during the interaction that the supply system is functioning smoothly and no major concerns have been reported.
Expressing satisfaction over the overall functioning and coordination at the district level, Mahajan appreciated the commitment and professionalism of the officers. He stated that it was encouraging to see dedicated officials working effectively for the welfare and development of the people.
He further reiterated the resolve to continue engaging with stakeholders and supporting efforts aimed at strengthening development and ensuring that government welfare initiatives reach every section of society.
