HIRANAGAR: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K General Secretary Baldev Singh Billawaria addressed a workshop organized under the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahabhiyan–2026 at Mandal Hiranagar in district Kathua. The workshop witnessed participation from party workers, office bearers, and grassroots activists from the area. Among those present on the occasion were BJP District President Kathua Updesh Andotra and MLA Hiranagar Advocate Vijay Sharma, along with other senior party leaders and local functionaries.
While addressing the workshop, Billawaria highlighted the significance of ideological and organizational training for party workers. He said that the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahabhiyan is an important initiative of the BJP aimed at strengthening the party’s organizational structure and equipping workers with ideological clarity, discipline, and effective communication skills to serve society more efficiently.
Billawaria said that the philosophy of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, particularly the principle of Antyodaya, upliftment of the last person in society continues to guide the policies and programmes of the BJP. He emphasized that party workers must remain connected with the masses and actively work to spread awareness about the welfare initiatives and development works being implemented under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Billawaria further asked the workers to strengthen the party at the grassroots level and dedicate themselves to public service with commitment and discipline. He said that well-trained and ideologically motivated workers form the backbone of a strong organization and play a crucial role in nation-building.
Updesh Andotra said that such training workshops help in strengthening coordination among party workers and enhance their capacity to effectively carry forward the party’s programmes at the booth and Mandal levels. He expressed confidence that the workshop would energize the cadre and further strengthen the party’s organizational network in the district.
Advocate Vijay Sharma stressed the importance of conducting regular training programmes for party workers. He said that ideological awareness and organizational discipline are essential for effective public service and urged the workers to remain dedicated to the vision of inclusive development and good governance.
