POONCH: In a significant step towards improving public service accessibility, the Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal, inaugurated several Touch Point Common Service Centres (CSCs), today at key government offices, including the Government Degree College Poonch, ARTO Office Poonch and Tehsil Haveli Poonch in the presence ADC Poonch, Tahir Mustafa Malik, Principal GDC Poonch, Dr. Jasbir Singh and District Manager CSC, Imtiaz Ahmed.
A total of 23 CSC touchpoints have been functional across various government offices, including 11 in the BDO Office, 6 in Tehsil offices, 4 in the Degree College, 1 in the ARTO Office and 1 in the DC Office.
Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for the CSC operators to deliver services at genuine rates to ensure that beneficiaries can access essential services without any financial burden. The introduction of these centres marks a leap forward in facilitating online services for the residents of Poonch, ultimately enhancing administrative efficiency and public satisfaction. Tehsildar Haveli, Azhar Majid, ARTO Poonch, Basharat Mehmood highlighted the importance of these centres in providing essential online services.
