RAMBAN: MSME-Development & Facilitation Office, field office of Union Ministry of MSME implements various schemes and activities for the benefit of MSME Sector in Jammu & Kashmir. The activities including Entrepreneurship Awareness Program, Intellectual Property Rights Awareness Program, Procurement Marketing Support Scheme Awareness Program, PM-Vishwakarma Seminar, PM-Vishwakarma Awareness Workshop, Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Program, Management Development Program, Reimbursement of Barcode Expenditure, Reimbursement of Stall Charges, To and From Charges, Advertising Expenditure for participating in various exhibitions conducted in all parts of the Country.
The PM Vishwakarma scheme is implemented in Jammu & Kashmir with active participation of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir. The scheme is meant for upliftment of skilled artisans of 18 trades who preserve the cultural identity and play vital role in economy of J&K. The scheme offers the benefit like training with stipend, Loan up to 3 lakh, incentive of Re.1 towards digital transaction and toolkits worth Rs.15,000 training has been completed at various centers in various districts of J&K. As per the scheme guidelines toolkits are being given to the Vishwakarmas for enhancing their production levels resulting in higher productivity with enhanced quality with better value for their products. The delivery of Toolkits is implemented with the assistance of India Post. Toolkit delivery has started recently.
Detailed road map has been laid for delivery of Tool Kits at the doorstep of the artisan which includes showing the toolkit to the artisans by open delivery method and recording, uploading of a video with 30 seconds duration before making payment to the vendor of tool kit through DBT. Total delivered toolkits are more than 15000 numbers in J&K.
To further increase the penetration and saturation of the scheme, an awareness program was organized by DFO Jammu in Batote of District Ramban for especially with lesser registration trades. The benefits of the scheme were informed to the participants in detail and the queries of already registered participants have been cleared on the spot by officers of the Union Ministry and Government of Jammu & Kashmir. The program was orgainsed as per the directions of G.Velladurai IEDS, Joint Director, MSME DFO, Jammu. BDO, Batote, Officer from DIC, Ramban, Representative from CSC, Ex. Sarpanchs and various officers participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Rajesh Kumar IEDS, Assistant Director MSME DFO Jammu.
