DODA: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) J&K celebrated International Anti-Corruption Day-2024 with a significant event organised at Government Degree College (GDC) Doda today under the theme "Uniting with Youth Against Corruption: Shaping Tomorrow's Integrity."
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from stakeholders, including Dy. SP (ACB) DKR Sagar Singh Salathia, ACB teams, Dy. SP Headquarter Doda, other officers, teachers and large number of students from GDC Doda.
The program was Presided over by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda, Sandeep Kumar Mehta and ADC Doda, Sudarshan Kumar. Both dignitaries addressed the gathering, emphasising the importance of eradicating corruption to ensure transparency and accountability in governance. The SSP and ADC also highlighted the role of youth and educational institutions in fostering a corruption-free society.
The Dy SP (ACB) along with ACB teams conducted interactive sessions to educate attendees on the legal frameworks and mechanisms available to combat corruption. These sessions were aimed at empowering students and the broader community to take proactive steps toward a fair and transparent system.
The Students participated enthusiastically, showcasing their dedication to eradicating corruption with the resounding message, "Say No to Corruption." The Certificates of appreciation were also distributed among the students, recognising their active engagement and commitment to the cause.
