KULGAM: Following the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, a one-day training and awareness program was organized in Kulgam for Resource Persons nominated for the Gram Panchayat Level IEC Campaign against Drug Abuse. The session aimed to sensitize Resource Persons from various departments, including Police, Health, Excise, Social Welfare, Education, and NRLM, about their roles and responsibilities in conducting awareness initiatives at the grassroots level.
Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kulgam, Mushtaq Ahmad Lone underscored the collective responsibility of society in combating the menace of drug abuse. He emphasized the need for coordinated efforts to raise awareness and implement preventive measures effectively.
