SRINAGAR: Commissioner SMC, Dr. Owais Ahmed today conducted a comprehensive inspection of dewatering stations and Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) at various locations in Srinagar. Accompanied by senior officials from the Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED) and SMC, the inspection aimed to evaluate the operational capabilities and maintenance of these critical facilities.
During the visit, Dr. Owais assessed the functionality of several dewatering stations that play a crucial role in managing excess water and mitigating flood risks in urban areas. He examined the equipment, processes, and overall efficiency of these plants.
