BARAMULLA: District Judiciary Baramulla held a condolence meeting today at the District Court Complex, here, to mourn the sudden demise of Raja Mohammad Tasleem, Special Judge, UAPA Court, Baramulla, who passed away after a brief illness in Delhi. Judicial Officers, members of the Bar Association Baramulla, Prosecuting Officers, court staff, and a large number of litigants attended the meeting to express their grief.
Principal District & Sessions Judge, Baramulla Jawad Ahmad, remembered Raja Tasleem for his professional integrity, dedication to justice, and humble nature. He conveyed condolences on behalf of the Judicial Officers of J&K and the District Judiciary Baramulla to the bereaved family.
Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Judge, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, and Administrative Judge for District Baramulla, also extended his sympathies, recognizing Tasleem Rajaâs valuable contributions to the judiciary. Senior Advocate Ab. Salam Rather led Fateha Khawani for the departed soul, followed by a two-minute silence. The judicial fraternity stands in solidarity with the bereaved family in this hour of grief.
