- Ward No. 3 Welfare Association organizes Awareness Programme on "One Nation, One Election"
JAMMU: The Ward No. 3 Old City Jammu Welfare Association, under the leadership of Rajinder Sharma organised an awareness programme at Ram Ashram, Peer Khoo, to discuss the important topic of "One Nation, One Election." The event aimed to educate people about the benefits of holding simultaneous elections for the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies and how it can bring stability to the country.
The programme was attended by several prominent personalities, including Rajesh Gupta, District President BJP Jammu, Advocate Arvind Khajuria, and Ex-Corporator JMC Narotam Sharma. The participants shared their thoughts on how conducting elections together can strengthen democracy, reduce unnecessary expenses, and ensure smooth governance without frequent disruptions.
