JAMMU: Innovation and Incubation cell of GCW Parade Ground, organized one day Entrepreneurship awareness programme under the ageis of Ministry of MSME. The programme comprised of two sessions and was held under the patronship of Principal of the college, Dr. Ravender Kumar Tickoo. The whole programme was funded by NIT Srinagar, Nodal agency appointed by Ministry of MSME for spreading Entrepreneurship Culture across J&K.
In the inaugurating session, Resouce person, Neetu Dhar, Chairperson of "Jammu Pariyatan Vikas cooperative limited", interacted with the students on the theme of "Art of Public Speaking". She engaged students of various semesters in small activities to aware them of major characteristic of good public speaking. She also focused on vital aspects of Public speaking like content, Delivery, Body language and Audience Engagement.
In second session, Ulfat briefed the audience about the schemes of MSME through Power point presentation shared by the coordinator of Programme, Dr. Dinesh kumar from NIT srinagar about the schemes of MSME which focused on tapping the creativity of budding Entrepreneurs. The event was graced by the HODs and faculty members of different departments. The programme culminated with the vote of Thanks presented by Prof. Anita Sharma, Convener, Innovation and Incubation cell.
