SRINAGAR: In a poignant gesture of respect and mourning, the employees of the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports J&K, the office of the Joint Director Kashmir, and the District Youth Services and Sports Office Srinagar, came together to observe a two-minute silence. Led by the Joint Director Kashmir, this solemn tribute was held to honor the memory of Mr. Varinder Sharma, a dedicated Physical Education Master and Judo Coach, who left an indelible mark on the sports fraternity of J&K.

Mr. Sharma's untimely passing on Monday after a brief illness has left a void in the department, and his colleagues and friends are deeply saddened by the loss. As the incharge warden of the Youth Hostel Nagrota Jammu, Mr. Sharma's commitment to his work and his passion for sports inspired countless young athletes. His humility, expertise, and dedication earned him immense respect and admiration within the department.

The Director General of the Department expressed profound grief over Mr. Sharma's sudden demise, remembering him as a capable employee who made significant contributions to the department. "Mr. Varinder Sharma will always be remembered for his humility and dedication to his work. May his noble soul rest in peace," the Director General said. The YSS family extends its heartfelt condolences to Mr. Sharma's family and loved ones during this difficult time.
