KATRA: Karwaan 4.0, the eagerly anticipated annual event by VIKALP - A Students' Initiative, was conducted successfully with the intriguing theme "Undersea Wonders.” The theme provided the tone for a colorful andengaging week that welcomed more than 100 children, filling every day with happiness, imagination, and purposefulinteraction.
The celebration started with a rousing Indoor Sports Day, during which the kids engaged in thrilling games and friendlycontests that promoted both concentration and enjoyment. The playfulness was carried over to the following day withthe Outdoor Sports Day, when the grounds resounded with running, cheering, and laughter as the kids engaged in racesand group games. During midweek, the mood changed from activity to creativity with the Art and Craft Day.
Taking cuefrom the underwater theme, the kids emptied their imagination to craft sea creatures (shells), oceanic scenery (DIYaquarium), and vibrant crafts. Their innovation was not only apparent on canvas but also in the happy mood theycreated. This was followed by the Cultural and Literary Day, a stunning display of talent and self-expression. The childrenboldly stepped out onto the stage to dance, sing and recite poetry.
The week ended on the Final Day of May 4, whichwas further enhanced by the visit of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Pragati Kumar, who acknowledged the effortsof the organizing team as well as the children. His inspiring words and friendly interaction put smiles on all faces. Thelast day included closing performances, medal distribution, and reminiscing about the memorable journey of the lastweek.In all, KARWAAN 4.0 was a touching and meaningful experience.
The presence of more than 100 children, their evidentsmiles, and the efficient management by committed student volunteers ensured that the event was a huge success. Aspromised by its theme, Undersea Wonders with Vikalp, the event provided a lovely, and enchanting experience – onethat will be remembered in the hearts of everyone who participated in it.
