JAMMU. Under the leadership of senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and in-charge of Nagrota Assembly Amit Kapoor, Aam Aadmi Party leaders and workers today demonstrated vigorously in support of their state president and Doda MLA Mehraj Malik outside the Press Club in Jammu and demanded a high level investigation into the allegations leveled by him against Dr. Madhu of GMC Hospital, Doda.

Along with this, they raised the issue of people not getting drinking water in Ranjan village of Nagrota Assembly constituency and warned the Chief Engineer of PHE department that if this basic issue of the people is not resolved immediately, a big movement will be started against it.

Let us tell you that despite the rain this morning, supporters and leaders of Aam Aadmi Party from different areas of Jammu gathered outside the Press Club Jammu and demonstrated vigorously on these issues under the leadership of senior party leader Amit Kapoor. During this time, a large number of policemen were deployed to foil the protest, but despite this, AAP leaders and workers protested vigorously.

Addressing the protesters, Amit Kapoor demanded withdrawal of the FIR lodged against Doda MLA and party president Mehraj Malik and a high-level investigation into the benefits obtained by him by making fake RBA certificate against Dr. Madhu. Along with this, he also demanded the dismissal of Dr. Madhu. Along with this, he also raised the issue of drinking water problem of the people of village Ranjan of Nagrota assembly constituency and warned the Chief Engineer of PHE that if this problem of the people is not resolved, then Aam Aadmi Party will start a big movement against it and the government will be completely responsible for the situation arising out of it.

During the demonstration, senior party leader Amit Kapoor along with Engineer Harpreet Singh, Yasir Mattoo, Sujan Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Adv.Sandeep gupta Suresh Bhagat, Amrik Singh, Virji Kachru, Joginder Singh, Ranjeet Singh Goldy, Mohammad Shakeel, Harbhajan Singh, Gagan Singh and other leaders were present along with a large number of women.
