JAMMU: BJP Senior leader and former JMC Councilor Sanjay Kumar Baru along with BJP media secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and Talab Tillo BJP Mandal President Keshav Chopra listened to the Grievances of Shanker Vihar's residents at Talab Tillo in Jammu West Assembly constituency.
During the meeting, people informed that the street lights in most areas of the colony are non-functional. Water logging in the extension area during the rainy season. Drains of the main lane needs repairs as these drains are full every time. These drains and deep drains need to be covered with gratings so that space can be increased for passersby. People also face problems with street dogs.
One of the residents informed them to remove the unwanted pole installed by GEO in the middle of the road. The residents also want to get the replaced tilted poles in the main shanker Vihar lane, which are causing a threat to human lives. People also complain about voter cards and Ayushmaan cards working.
After listening patiently Sanjay Baru assured people of the Colony that all their problems will be solved one by one. He said that the issues of the street lights is already being taken and the result will be visible soon. Regarding upgradation of lane and drain, Baru further said that matter is already taken up with JMC authorities and amount of 22 lakhs has been approved for drains at Shanker Vihar.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that the public issues are always a priority for the BJP. He said that the all the issues are the genuine concerns for the colony residents and added that these issues are already being pursued at the party level. He assured the colony residents that the party cadre is available for their needs at any point of time.
Keshav Chopra assured the colony residents that the party will soon arrange the voter cards and ayushmaan cards camps in the colony itself. Sham Lal, Tilak Raj, Ashok Sharma, Ashwani Arora,Ranjeev Aluwalia, Raman Gupta, Rajesh Paba, Ajay Gupta, Kuldeep Raj, Pritam Sharma, Bhagat ji, Brij Mohan Sharma, Parveen Gupta, Rohit Kumar, Hari Krishan Gupta, Aman Badyal,Ankush Badyal and others were present on the occasion.
