The Deputy Commissioner visited the Fruit Plant Nursery in Dokezibagh, where she planted avocado saplings at the region's first-ever Avocado Mother Block. The Deputy Commissioner stated that this Avocado Mother Block represents not just agricultural innovation, but a pathway to sustainable livelihoods for our farmers.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the Chief Horticulture Officer to scale up the production of quality plant material for distribution to farmers across the district, reinforcing the administration's commitment to agricultural sustainability and farmer prosperity.
