RAJOURI: Kissan Sampark Abhiyan 3.0 was launched today in different Panchayats of 19 blocks of Rajouri District to promote benefits of Holistic Agriculture Development Programme. The Abhiyan was launched under the overall guidance of District Development Commissioner, Om Parkash Bhagat and under close supervision of Director Sheep Husbandry Department Jammu who is also the Supervisory Officer of the programme.
The purpose of Kissan Sampark Abhiyan 3.0 is to generate awareness regarding the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme and to expedite implementation of the projects under HADP for the welfare of the farming community. The Sampark Abhiyan was conducted simultaneously at 19 Panchayats on the day one, while it will cover all the 312 Panchayats of the District Rajouri in coming days.
Training is being imparted to farmers by the Resource Persons for orientation of Agriculture and Allied Departments through lectures as well as audio visual aids and the baseline survey is being conducted by the Resource Persons for Baseline Survey/Skill Gap Survey of the farmers who attended the training programme.
District Nodal Officer for Kissan Sampark Abhiyan 3.0, District Sheep Husbandry Officer Rajouri, Dr. P. P. Sajotra informed that during KSA 3.0, a special focus is being laid on awareness of credit linked schemes and purpose of opening Kissan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) in various Panchayats.
