RAMBAN: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, and Labour Commissioner J&K, the Department of Labour and FCS&CA conducted joint camps at various places in district Ramban in order to make e-shram workers aware about their rights and identifying those e-shram worker who do not have ration cards or they have not been added to existing family ration card.
Today, the camps were held at Block Rajgarh, Ramsoo, Khari and TSO office Ramban. Officers of Labour Department along with Concerned TSOs and Storekeepers of food Department have attended camps and almost 36 e-shram registrants have been identified in these camps who already had ration cards and there are still about 834 e shram registrants who had been found without ration card as per data on e-shram portal for district Ramban.
ALC Ramban urged e-shram registrants to visit the office of concerned TSO, or AD, FCS&CA or ALC office Ramban or may call at the given contact number in the district website, with regard to the issuance of ration card. The said list of e shram registrants has been uploaded on district administration Website.
