Poetry is a powerful medium to reach out to the masses: BJP

JAMMU: Senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party emphasized the significance of poetry as a powerful medium for communicating with the masses while distributing compositions authored by Balbir Ram Rattan highlighting the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the twelve years of his leadership.

BJP Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, on this occasion, expressed gratitude to Balbir Ram Rattan for presenting the achievements of the Narendra Modi government through poetry. He said that poetry possesses a unique ability to touch the hearts of people and communicate ideas in a manner that is both memorable and inspiring. Dr. Pardeep said that while facts and figures are important, poetic expression creates an emotional connection with the readers and enables them to understand the larger vision behind public welfare initiatives. He added that literature and poetry have always played a significant role in shaping public opinion and motivating society towards positive change. He further said that creative writings based on national development and good governance help strengthen public awareness and inspire constructive participation in nation-building.

BJP State Spokesperson Dr. Hari Dutt Shishu also described poetry as one of the most effective mediums of public communication. He said that poetry transcends barriers of age, education and social background, making it easier to reach people from all walks of life. Dr. Shishu remarked that the literary presentation of the government's achievements helps readers connect with developmental initiatives and understand their impact on society in a more meaningful manner. He said that poetry has historically been a powerful tool for spreading social messages and continues to remain relevant in the modern era.

Author Balbir Ram Rattan expressed satisfaction over the positive response received for his work and said that writing poetry gives him an opportunity to present his thoughts, feelings and observations in a creative form. He added that his compositions seek to highlight the transformative changes witnessed in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and inspire people to participate in the nation-building process. He said that poetry enables complex subjects to be conveyed in a simple and engaging manner, thereby reaching a wider audience.

Dr. Mackson Tickoo, Incharge Social Media BJP, and Rajinder Jamwal, Advocate and Co-Convenor of the Department of Political Feedback, also shared their views. They observed that poetry has historically served as an effective instrument for public outreach, education and social awareness, and continues to remain relevant in contemporary times as a meaningful means of communicating important messages to society.
