KATHUA: The NSS Unit of Government Degree College Ramkote today organised a cleanliness drive in the college premises under Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign. The drive was organised under the patronage of Principal of the college, Dr Rakesh Kumar Koul to promote the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in our surroundings.
As many as 30 NSS volunteers participated in the drive and cleaned the college playground, lawns and surroundings. The students carried dustbins for waste collection and segregation. Students learnt the meaning of "Cleanliness is Godliness" and pledged to make campus plastic free as cleanliness is most important for physical and mental well being.
