GANDERBAL: Under the “Swachhta Hi Seva 2025” initiative, Dean Students Welfare (DSW) and National Service Scheme (NSS) wing of the Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir) organised cleanliness drives at Tulmulla Campus and Arts Campus here on Thursday.

Dean School of Education Prof. Syed Zahoor Geelani, Dean DSW, Prof. Irfan Aalam, NSS Coordinator Dr. Shabir Ahmad, Head Department of Physical Education Dr. Kaukab Azeem, faculty members, and students from multiple departments participated in the cleanliness drives.

Speaking on the occasion, senior faculty members stressed that the purpose of the cleanliness drive was not only to clean for a day, but to plant a seed of habit, urging all participants to carry forward the lessons into their everyday lives. Students pledged to avoid plastics, conserve resources, and encourage their peers to contribute to the Swachhata movement.
