SRINAGAR: Under the theme “Swachhata Pakwada” Police in Shopian on the directions of SSP Shopian MS Tanushree-IPS today organized Swachhata Pakwada (Cleanliness Drive) at DPL Shopian in which officers & jawans of district Police Shopian participated.
The cleanliness drive was also participated by DySP Hqrs Shopian Shri Syed Javeed Ahmad-JKPS, alongwith other Police officers/officials of the district. The main aim of the drive was to foster the spirit of cleanliness among the jawans with a firm belief & to encourage other persons to take it as endeavour to devote their time for cleanliness.
Moreover, disinfectants were sprayed to make the premises of DPL Shopian clean. The piled-up garbage and waste along the boundary walls was removed & all the garbage was dumped up and destroyed safely, for avoiding spread of infection & disease. At conclusion, everyone promised to devote themselves for cleanliness and making the country garbage free.
