BANDIPORA: District Hospital Bandipora observed World Earth Day 2025 with a series of awareness activities aimed at promoting environmental conservation. The event was marked by enthusiastic participation from hospital staff and the local community. 

Medical Superintendent Dr. Masrat Iqbal Wani led the program and emphasized the urgent need to preserve nature and combat environmental threats. Speaking on this year’s theme, "Planet vs. Plastics," Dr. Wani highlighted the hazards of plastic pollution and encouraged sustainable practices for a healthier planet. 

The event included a pledge ceremony, where participants committed to protecting the environment and reducing plastic usage. In addition, a plantation drive was carried out within the hospital premises, and a sanitation campaign was launched to promote cleanliness and hygiene. The initiative reflected the hospital's commitment not only to healthcare but also to fostering environmental responsibility among citizens.
