JAMMU: A Mass Swachhata Campaign under the banner of “Ek Ghanta Ek Saath” was organized inside and outside the college premises of Government College for Women (GCW) Parade Ground, Jammu on 1/10/2026.

The cleanliness drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from the NCC Cadets of the 8 J&K Girls Battalion, who actively carried out sanitation and awareness activities in and around the campus. The drive was organized under the guidance and patronage of the worthy Principal, Dr. Naveen Anand, and supervised by ANO Dr. Nitu Sharma.

During the event, the NCC cadets, alongside their ANO, conducted a thorough cleanliness drive to promote environmental hygiene and civic responsibility. As part of the initiative, a Swachhata Pledge was also administered to all participants, reinforcing their commitment to maintaining cleanliness and supporting the national vision of a cleaner India.

Principal Dr. Naveen Anand appreciated the zeal and proactive efforts of the NCC cadets and their ANO in leading community-driven initiatives that foster social responsibility among youth.
