PULWAMA: Continuing its commitment to community welfare, Police in Pulwama distributed full uniform kits to tribal students of Government Upper Primary School, Aditrag Sangerwani under the Civic Action Programme 2024-25.
The initiative was aimed at supporting students from underprivileged backgrounds by providing them with essential school uniforms, fostering a sense of belonging and encouragement towards education. The event was attended by SSP Pulwama Ms. P.D. Nitya-IPS and DySP DAR, who interacted with the students and motivated them to excel in their studies.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Pulwama emphasized the importance of education in shaping the future of young minds and assured continued support from Police in similar welfare initiatives. The initiative was well received by students, teachers, and parents, who appreciated the police department's efforts in promoting education and community engagement.
Police remain dedicated to bridging the gap between law enforcement and the public through such outreach programs, reinforcing its commitment to serving society beyond policing duties. More such initiatives will be undertaken in the future to uplift and support the weaker sections of the community.
