UDHAMPUR: Sainik Cooperative Public High School, Chanas Tikri, celebrated its first annual day function with great enthusiasm and joy. The event revolved around the theme “Echoes of the Past, Vision of the Future,” which was creatively expressed through a variety of musical and dance performances.
Special Secretary Cooperative Department, Purnima Mittal graced the occasion as the chief guest and inaugurated the function in presence of District Information Officer Rajinder Digra, Deputy Registrar Cooperative Society Nishtha Nayyar, Dr Hans Raj Sharma, founder member, members of the school management committee, staff and students.
The program commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, invoking divine blessings. Students enthralled the audience with theme-based cultural performances, including vibrant folk dances from various Indian states and a thought-provoking skit titled “Old Generation vs. New Generation Lifestyle.”
While addressing the gathering, the Special Secretary Cooperative Department praised the students for their confidence and commended the school for providing a platform that nurtures young talent. She also appreciated the efforts of the staff and the entire cooperative society for organizing such a remarkable event.
Baldev Chand Anthal, presented the annual report for the academic session 2023-24, highlighting the school’s achievements and milestones. The school management honored the toppers of the academic session 2023-24 for their outstanding performance.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where students who excelled in cultural performances were felicitated. The vote of thanks was delivered by the school Principal, Vandana Gupta, expressing gratitude to all the guests and participants for making the event a grand success.
