SRINAGAR: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president and former chief minister and Mehbooba Mufti hit out at PM Narendra Modi for his remarks on abrogating Article 370 of Indian constitution. According to PTK Correspondent, Mehbooba while Speaking to media said that it was Congress Chief Minster in 2008 G. N Azad who vandalized Article 370 by allotting thousands of kanals to Amarnath Shrine board at Pahalgam.
Addressing two separate (Qazigund and Devsar) Kulgam election rally on Saturday in Devsar Assembly segment of Kulgam, one of the four south Kashmir districts forming the Anantnag Parliamentary Constituency party president said that only PDP resisted the move and now the congress was lecturing about 370 and 35-A. She also lashed out at National conference and said it was this party that allowed the replacement of Prime Minister’s post with Chief Minster.

PDP president and former J&K CM, Mehbooba Mufti reacting after Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that Article 370 and 35A have done maximum damage to Jammu and Kashmir and only former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s formula of “Insaniyat, Kashmiriyat and Jamhooriyat” will work in Jammu and Kashmir.
Mehbooba Mufti said that “If Modi thinks that Kashmir is in loss because of Article 370 then why they don’t leave Kashmir as soon as possible”. Mehbooba Mufti questioned “Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Sahab accepted the chief minister’s seat after signing the infamous accord 1975 with the then prime minister Indira Gandhi. Did National Conference not think of the special status of the state”
"Why should he live with the burden. Let they leave it." Said Mehbooba when asked about her reaction to PM's alleged remark.
