GUJARAT:Â The Pre Poll survey has been showing that ruling Bhartiya Janata Party is going to taste a defeat in the upcoming and much hyped Gujarat Assembly elections. If the recent Pre Poll survey is to be believed Rahul Gandhi led Congress party supported by Hardik Patel is going to bag 100 seats out of 182 total Assembly seats. Rupani who is the incumbent Chief Minister of the state and is leading BJP in Gujarat is going to bag 78 seats while remaing 4 seats will go to others.
Â
The Pre Poll survey has been conducted by Platform for Election Analysis and Community Studies (PEACS), a popular Exit Poll organization that in the past has predicted almost every election results accurately. An official from PEACS told news agency CNS that they conducted election survey taking 4000 samples randomly from 40 Assembly Segments and after thorough analysis they arrived at this conclusion that Congress Party is going to form the next government in Gujarat.
Â
Another official rubbished the media reports that BJP will emerge as the single largest party saying that whatever is being presented from New Delhi is being presented under pressure. He said that Congress may even get 110 seats. "This is what our Pre Poll Survey shows," he said. Meanwhile, the pre-poll conducted by same agency shows that ruling Congress may lose elections in Himachal Pradesh.
Â
Â
âIn Himachal Pradesh we conducted random sampling of 2000 centres in 25 assembly segments. Our pre-poll shows that out of total 68 Assembly seats, BJP may emerge victorious and may bag 40 seats while 25 seats will go into the kitty of Congress party. The remaining three seats will be pocketed by others,â said the official of the agency.
