JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and party sympathizers handed over Cheques worth 13 lakh rupees and details of online contributions of more than 12.5 lakh rupees to party’s J&K President Ravinder Raina and BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul for donation to PM CARES relief Fund at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
On separate occasions, J&K BJP Vice-President Aseem Gupta, party General Secretary Dr. D K Manyal, Ch. Vikram Randhawa (former MLC), Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and other senior party leaders were present while the contributions were handed over to Ravinder Raina and Ashok Kaul.
From Paragwal, Khour and Khara-Balli Mandals, former MLA Dr. Krishan Bhagat along with BJP leaders G.S Chib, Sukhdev Singh, Balwinder Singh and Jagandeep Singh handed over Cheques worth 12.19 Lakh rupees to J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina. In addition they also handed over details of nearly 12.5 lakh rupees donated online to the PM CARES Fund.
Kargil Shaheed family (Veer Nari) Sharda Bhau (Mahila Morcha Secretary) collected and handed over cheques worth 55 thousand rupees to J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina. Ravinder Raina, vehemently thanked all the donors for liberal funding to the PM CARES Fund on the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that their contribution will strengthen the hands of PM Modi in the fight against Corona Pandemic.
