JAMMU: Meenu Mahajan, the first Mrs. India from J&K has been conferred with the National Excellence Award (NIER) in New Delhi. The National Excellence Award was presented to Meenu Mahajan by Bollywood actoress Mahima Chowdhary and popular character actor Rakesh Bedi and other dignitaries. The award in the category of Indian Women Achiever was bagged by Meenu Mahajan who was crowned as Mrs. India exquisite, Queen for a cause and also the winner of sub title Ms. Beautiful Skin in 2016. A Social Development Specialist by profession,Meenu Mahajan has also been selected as the ambassador of betiyaan foundation, J&K
