NEW DELHI: Rising star, Sana Dua is all set to represent Jammu & Kashmir in finale after she was crowned as Femina Miss India Jammu & Kashmir 2017 in North Zone crowning event, the grand finale of Femina Miss India 2017 is slated to take place in June this year. Femina Miss India 2017 will be the 54th edition of the pageant. During the conclusion of the pageant, Priyadarshini Chatterjee will pass on her crown to her successor. The winner of Femina Miss India 2017 will represent India at Miss World 2017 and the runner ups will represent India at Miss Grand International 2017 and Miss Supranational 2017.
The third zonal crowning ceremony of Femina Miss India 2017 took place in the capital city, New Delhi on April 16, 2017 at the Leela Palace. During the north zone crowning of Femina Miss India 2017, state representatives from Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himanchal Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab were crowned.
During the coronation gala of Femina Miss India North 2017, Sana Dua was crowned as Femina Miss India Jammu & Kashmir 2017, former Miss Asia Pacific India, Anukriti Gusain was titled as Femina Miss India Uttarakhand 2017, Shefali Sood was adjudged as Femina Miss India Uttar Pradesh 2017, Manushi Chhillar was crowned as Femina Miss India Haryana 2017, Adya Shrivastava was declared as Femina Miss India Madhya Pradesh 2017. During the same event Santoshi Ranaut was crowned as Femina Miss India Himanchal Pradesh 2017, while Femina Miss India Delhi 2017 title went to Maira Chowdhury. Neha Dhupia is mentoring the North Zone participants. Meanwhile, last year Top 5 finalist of Femina Miss India, Navpreet Kaur walked home with the title of Femina Miss India Punjab 2017.
