SRINAGAR: A function on Arbor Day was organised in the Muslim Educational Institute (Yateem Khana), Bemina, Srinagar here today by the Department of Environment in which apart from the dignitaries from various fields, around 500 students attended the function. Symposium and drawing competitions was held and best judged students were rewarded suitably by the Department. Environment Awareness material was also distributed on spot. Apart from this, a plantation drive was also initiated in which students of the Institute actively participated.
