UDHAMPUR: Ms. Seema Thakur was adjudged best speaker in the symposium on “Global Warming” organized by the Department of Information Udhampur held in the premises of Government Middle School Gharrian Kalan in Zone Chenani of district Udhampur here today. Second and third positions were clinched by Ajay Kumar and Rahul Sharma respectively. Two consolation prizes were also given to Vaisa Devi and Anju Devi.
As many as 10 students of the host institution participated in the debate contest and expressed their views on the topic. Headmaster, Mr. Hem Raj of the host school who was the chief guest on the occasion lauded the efforts of Information Department in organizing the event of great importance in her school. During the contest Ranjeet, Pooja and Kartar Chander acted as judges. Prizes and certificates of merits were given among the students.
