KARGIL: Under Swatch Bharat Abhiyan and Sanitation Week with a Slogan “Hand Wash”, a Cleaning Campaign has been initiated by the District Administration in Kargil and the Campaign was started by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kargil Kacho Tourab Shah from Goma Kargil by cleaning the road and surroundings himself.
The Campaign has been organized by Municipal Committee Kargil in collaboration with District Panchayat Office Kargil. On this occasion an awareness Programme was also organized at Government High School Goma Kargil in which school children and inhabitants of Goma Kargil also participated during which the speakers threw light on the need of a neat, clean and healthy surroundings for which each and every one has to come forward and make the dream of Swatch Bharat up to 2019 a success.
Talking on this occasion the Chief Guest Kacho Tourab Shah stressed on the need to make Kargil a Hygienic Place and for which everyone has to take a pledge for keeping the surroundings clean. He urged upon the students to focus on their studies as well as for becoming the ambassador of swatch Bharat Abhiyan so that the elderly people should take inspiration from them.
With the Contribution from each and every people of the country we can achieve the dream of Swatch Bharat Abhiyan by 2019, KT Shah added. On this occasion others present include DPO Akhone Mohd Sadiq, Head Master GHS Goma Kargil, Representative of MCD Kargil and prominent persons of Goma Kargil.
