JAMMU: As part of the nationwide Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a cleanliness campaign was initiated in district jail Jammu under the supervision of Director General of Police, Prisons, S.K. Mishra in which jail officers and staff participated. The jail authorities took part in the drive to promote cleanliness in and around the jail premises. Superintendent of the Jail, Harish Kotwal, said that this drive will be carried out in the jail premises on regular intervals. The staff as well as jail inmates besides families residing in quarters were motivated to take part in cleaning their surrounding area and jail premises.
