This encompassed the importance of buildings meeting the approval standards set by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the placement of disaster management kits in every household, and the utilization of the mobile app "Bhookamp" which provides real time earthquake information to users developed by NCS , Ministry of Earth Sciences GOI.

To facilitate a practical understanding, a live demonstration of disaster management kits and their components, including life jackets, tubes, helmets, goggles, gloves, boots, blankets, buckets, CO2 cylinders, GPS wireless sets, compasses, and tool kits, was conducted for the enthusiastic participants. In an effort to assess the effectiveness of the programme, valuable feedback was gathered from the students through a prescribed format distributed to them.
