POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Yasin M. Choudhary today flagged off the first batch of 42 Haj Pilgrims including 31 Males and 11 Females, here from district poonch. SSP Yougal Manhas, ADC, Tahir Mustafa Malik, Dy SP Hqr, Kuldeep Sharma, Administrative Officer Aquaf, Er. Mohammad Rafiq Chisti, Molvi Farooq Ahmed Misbhai Imam Jama Masjid Poonch and others were present on the occasion.
The pilgrims left in private vehicles to Srinagar from where they will board flight for forward Journey. Deputy Commissioner interacted with the Hajjis and congratulated them and extended his best wishes for successful completion of the holy pilgrimage. He informed that all necessary arrangements have been put in place to facilitate the pilgrims on their way to holy pilgrimage. They were advised to contact district administration for all kinds of logistic support.
