  • 58 Hajj pilgrims leave Kishtwar, move towards Srinagar

KISHTWAR: The emotional scenes unfolded here at Islamia Faridia Educational & Research Institute in Kishtwar as 58 Hajj pilgrims left for Srinagar International Airport for their further journey to the Holy City of Mecca to perform holy Hajj. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav flagged-off this group of 58 Hajj Pilgrims including 21 Women and 37 Men here from Islamia Faridia Educational & Research Institute. 

Additional SP, Kishtwar Pawan Kumar; Imam Sahib Jamia Masjid Kishtwar, Hajj Incharge District Kishtwar Ayaz Ahmed, Principal Islamia Faridia School Mahboob Qazi, besides, media persons and others concerned were present on the occasion to see off the Hajj pilgrims. 

To make the farewell event historical a beautiful Mehfil-e-Naat was also organized here at Islamia Faridia Educational & Research Institute Kishtwar, the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) Vice Chairman G.M Saroori also participated. 

Saroori addressed the Hajj pilgrims and congratulated them for getting the opportunity to perform the holy Hajj. He also wished them a safe and secure pilgrimage and appealed to them to pray for peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir and the whole nation. Saroori advised them to perform Hajj appropriately and very carefully. 

Later, G.M. Saroori arranged a breakfast at Mughalmaidan Chatroo for Hajj pilgrims. The students of Madrasa Mugalmaidan also recited heart-touching naat to make the event beautiful. This event was a success and a fulfilling farewell for the Hajj pilgrims took place. 

Later, the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kishtwar, Dr Devansh Yadav flagged off this group of 58 Hajj pilgrims including 21 women and 37 men from Islamia Faridia Educational & Research Institute. 

The DC also interacted with Hajj pilgrims and congratulated them. The group of pilgrims, who left in buses for Hajj House Srinagar, flew to Saudi Arabia from the International Airport Srinagar.
